Attié Female Statue, Ivory Coast
1 000€
Exceptional Attié statue, depicting a female figure seated on a stool, her hands resting on her waist. Extreme finesse in the features that closely resemble those found in the Baoulé sculpture, stretched eyes surrounded by hemmed eyelids, arched eyebrows meeting at the base of the straight nose, tight lips. The scarifications on the face and the body are represented by metal pitons. Magnificent headdress composed of five finely sculpted buns. The neck and waist are adorned with white pearl threads. Very beautiful brown and honey patina.
