Flute / sifflet Gurunsi, Burkina Faso

Very thin Gurunsi flute with an elongated shape that tapers towards the end in a trapezoidal shape.
Two other side openings also allow the tone to be modulated. Carrying hole on the side of the instrument.
Object with a deep brown patina, particularly on the musician's bearing parts, which shows prolonged use.
This type of whistle accompanies in particular initiation ceremonies and agrarian festivals, and is also used for hunting.
